Overview
Këk Hyir Hadfow was founded durring the late 10th century, by Shnirlol. The establishment of Këk Hyir Hadfow was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Këk Hyir Hadfow's construction back out of the project. Shnirlol pushed on reguardles, and Këk Hyir Hadfow was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Këk Hyir Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Këk Hyir Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Këk Hyir Hadfow is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad paverstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Këk Hyir Hadfow's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The city's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.
Your first impression of Këk Hyir Hadfow proves to be right on the money. This city is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.
